Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Evaluate relevant anatomical structures and document examination findings
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures
- Communicate important clinical findings to physicians and appropriate healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
- Support efficient overnight imaging workflow and timely patient care
- Maintain accurate examination documentation and equipment quality standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Appropriate ultrasound credentials and registration as required by the position
- Prior clinical sonography experience preferred
- Ability to perform examinations independently
- Strong understanding of ultrasound imaging protocols and patient care
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work overnight hours
