Sunshine awaits! One of our clients in beautiful Fort Myers, FL is going to add another cardiac sonographer to their team. The job is full-time day shift and offers a nice hiring incentive (up to $20,800) including sign-on, relocation, and a 6 month housing allowance. Pay is determined based on experience, but is up to $46/hr. Facility is open to cross train candidates into vascular.

Echocardiography Sonographer Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiographic studies following IAC and departmental protocols (M-mode, 2D, color flow, pulsed wave, continuous wave Doppler).
  • Work with contrast agents, saline bubble studies, portable and stress echo studies.
  • Assist with transesophageal echocardiography and mentor trainees.
  • Document procedures accurately using advanced information systems.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of cardiovascular technology or diagnostic medical ultrasound program (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years echocardiography experience preferred.
  • BLS (AHA) required; RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required.
