Rent is also affordable, typically ranging from $900 to $1,100 per month, making it about 25% cheaper than the national average. Cleveland offers a wide range of things to do, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, professional sports teams like the Browns, Cavaliers, and Guardians, and a large theater district at Playhouse Square. The city also features beautiful lakefront access, beaches, and the Cleveland Metroparks system, often called the “Emerald Necklace.” Many of these attractions are low-cost or free, adding to the city’s overall affordability.
