Brownwood, TX has a population of about 30,000 residents and is located right in the center of Texas… very centrally located about 2 hours from Fort Worth, and 2 hours from Austin. It’s a pretty nice city, and they have a large lake and state park that is very popular during the summer months. What’s really nice is the housing market there too. I think the average price of a home according to Zillow is about $180,000, so a very reasonable cost of living.
We are looking for a night owl who enjoys working independently in a fairly slow paced department. The CT Tech will also need to assist with X-ray when not busy, but this is fairly rare. A Texas State Radiology license will be needed for consideration, as well as one-year of experience in CT, and your ARRT certification. The starting pay is up to $48/hr plus a nice transition package up to $15,000.
