Sunshine awaits! One of our clients in beautiful Cape Coral, FL has a Lead MRI Technologist oppourtunity. The job is full-time day shift M-F. A nice hiring package is being offered up to $22,900 for sign on, relocation, and a 3 month housing stipend.

Pay is depending on experience, but is up to $51/hr

Call Requirements:

Rotating call for nights and weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate daily MRI operations, ensuring efficient workflow and a seamless patient experience
  • Serve as a trusted resource and mentor to MRI team members, supporting a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Develop staffing and on-call schedules to meet department needs while supporting work-life balance
  • Take on in charge responsibilities, guiding the team and ensuring high-quality care delivery
  • Perform MRI procedures using advanced technology to produce accurate, diagnostic-quality images
  • Apply your expertise in MRI anatomy and pathophysiology to support clinical decision-making alongside radiologists
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care at every interaction
  • Contribute to a positive environment for patients, physicians, and team members
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive innovation within the department
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new team members and students
  • Perform venipuncture and support medication processes as needed
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support patient care needs

Requirements:

Educational Requirements: Radiology or MRI degree graduates accepted. Graduation of JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography or MRI degree program.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of two (2) years of recent MRI experience. Ideal candidate would have 3-5 yrs experience.

Licensure Requirements: Florida Radiologic Technologist License for radiology techs only. MRI degree for non-radiology techs.

Certifications/Registration Requirements:

  • BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) Required
  • Preferred MRSO certification through American Board of MagnetResonance(Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer)- preferred.
  • ARRT Registered or eligible required.
