One of our clients it looking for a Microbiology Lab Tech Supervisor to join their team. This is a Full-Time day shift position. Pay depends on experience, but is up to $46/hr.
Enjoy a Monday- Friday 7AM-3:30PM shift with NO ON CALL.
Primary Focus:
• Medical/clinical microbiology
• Culture setup and processing
• Multiple clinical specimen types
• Antimicrobial susceptibility testing
• Quality assurance
• Hands-on laboratory responsibilities as needed
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or qualifying life science
• MT or MLS ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Microbiology experience in an acute-care clinical laboratory
• Strong hands-on experience with culture setup, clinical specimen processing, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing
Preferred:
• Previous laboratory leadership or supervisory experience
