We are seeking MRI Technologists for two permanent, full-time weekend-night opportunities in Charleston, South Carolina. These positions offer a concentrated weekend schedule, competitive compensation, and additional earning potential through shift differentials.
Position Highlights
- Two permanent, full-time openings
- Weekend nights, 3×12 schedule
- Friday–Sunday, 6 PM–7:30 AM
- Base pay up to $48/hr, depending on experience
- Additional weekend-night shift differential of up to $5.30/hr
- Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates
- Up to $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates
- Hospital-based MRI imaging environment
- Four days off between scheduled workweeks
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic MRI examinations according to established protocols
- Screen patients for MRI safety risks, contraindications, and implant compatibility
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout examinations
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Administer contrast agents when appropriate and according to established protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records
- Follow MRI safety standards and support efficient overnight department operations
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or approved MRI educational program
- ARRT registration in Radiography and/or MRI, as applicable to the position
- MRI certification or eligibility to obtain certification within the employer's designated timeframe
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures and imaging protocols
- Previous MRI experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and provide excellent patient care during overnight hours
