Job# MRFL96343 Lead MRI Technologist
Sunshine awaits! One of our clients in beautiful Fort Myers, FL has a multiple MRI openings. The job is full-time M-F with no nights and no weekends at an outpatient center. A nice hiring package is being offered up to $22,900 for sign on, relocation, and a 3 month housing stipend. New graduates may be considered.
Pay is depending on experience, but is up to $46/hr
Responsibilities:
Performs all MRI procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the MRI area. Safely operates the scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality MR images. Understands the computer software of the MR scanners and maintains competency in MR area. Consistently applies working knowledge pertaining to MR anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed.
Requirements:
Educational Requirements: Radiology or MRI degree graduates accepted. Graduation of JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography or MRI degree program.
Experience Requirements: Minimum of two (2) years of recent MRI experience. Ideal candidate would have 3-5 yrs experience.
Licensure Requirements: Florida Radiologic Technologist License for radiology techs only. MRI degree for non-radiology techs.
Certifications/Registration Requirements:
- BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) Required
- Preferred MRSO certification through American Board of MagnetResonance(Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer)- preferred.
- ARRT Registered or eligible required.
